About The Event
Azamgarh Public School celebrated Yaum-e-Iqbal and the grand finale of Urdu Week with great pride, honoring Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal. Students participated enthusiastically throughout the week, showcasing the beauty of the Urdu language. The event was graced by several distinguished guests, welcomed warmly by the Scouts & Guides Colour Party. School Manager Mr. Mohammad Noman, Principal Mrs. Rupal Pandya, and Vice Principal Mrs. Runa Khan honored all guests with bouquets, shawls, and mementos.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Obaid Azam Azmi, highlighted the sweetness of Urdu through his poetry and praised the school’s promotion of the language. The Guest of Honour, Dr. Nazish Ehtesham Azmi, spoke about the importance of combining education with language and encouraged students to use Urdu daily. The Special Guest, Dr. Mehmood Mirza, discussed the close link between Urdu and Arabic and motivated students to take pride in their cultural languages. Other esteemed guests, including Poet Nadar Azmi, Mr. Shahab Abdullah, and CA Umar Khan, inspired students to see Urdu as a pathway to excellence.
Manager Mr. Mohammad Noman expressed gratitude and said that Urdu Day and Urdu Week were moments of pride for the school. Principal Mrs. Rupal Pandya praised the students’ enthusiasm, while Vice Principal Mrs. Runa Khan appreciated teachers and students for their dedication. The event concluded with thanks to Dr. Shafiujzaman, Mr. Shahab Abdullah, Mr. Arif, Mr. Shahnawaz Islahi, and the entire APS team for making Urdu Week and Yaum-e-Iqbal a grand success.
