About The Event
Azamgarh Public School constituted an Eco Club for Mission LiFE in accordance with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020, which promotes environmental awareness, conservation of resources, sanitation, and hygiene among students. The Eco Club aims to encourage students to adopt environmentally responsible habits and reduce their carbon footprint through practical and experiential learning.
The Eco Club is headed by Ms. Roopal Pandya, School Principal, with Ms. Tahseen Fatema (PGT Teacher) serving as the Teacher-in-Charge. The club includes student members Ayat, Fatima, Rishika Tyagi, Aditi Gupta, Mayank Gupta, and Moha Sayem, representing different grades.
Under Mission LiFE, the club will promote healthy lifestyles, sustainable food practices, e-waste reduction, the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle), energy conservation, water conservation, and reducing the use of single-use plastics. Through these activities, students will be encouraged to develop sustainable habits and spread environmental awareness among their peers and the wider community.
The initiative reflects Azamgarh Public School’s commitment to environmental responsibility, sustainable development, and value-based education, while encouraging students to become responsible citizens who actively contribute to a cleaner and greener future.
