Azamgarh Public School, Kotila Checkpost, celebrated the nation’s 80th Independence Day with great patriotic spirit through a grand Independence Day and Achievers Day programme.
The celebration began with the Scouts and Guides welcoming the guests, followed by the hoisting of the National Flag in the presence of Founder/Chairman Mr. Shah Alam (Guddu Jamali), Manager CA Mohammad Noman, Principal Mrs. Rupal Pandya, Vice Principal Ms. Runa Khan, parents, teachers, and students. The National Anthem, March Past, and ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ pledge added to the patriotic atmosphere.
In her welcome address, Principal Mrs. Rupal Pandya highlighted the importance of patriotism, discipline, hard work, moral values, and responsible citizenship. Students presented a vibrant cultural programme featuring patriotic songs, dances, speeches, yoga, Urdu nazms, costume parades, and skits, including ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ and ‘Sangharsh Se Swatantrata’.
The highlight of the event was Achievers Day, where board toppers, students scoring above 95%, NEET achievers admitted to government medical colleges, and university-level Gold Medalists honoured by the Hon’ble Governor were felicitated. Teachers who contributed to their success were also recognised with a ‘Token of Appreciation’.
Manager CA Mohammad Noman encouraged students to uphold discipline, honesty, hard work, and responsibility. He also praised the remarkable achievements of APS Residential Academy.
Founder/Chairman Mr. Shah Alam (Guddu Jamali) felicitated the achievers and shared the school’s growth, vision, and future plans. He encouraged students to dream big, pursue excellence, and contribute positively to society and the nation.
The celebration concluded with sweets and patriotic slogans, leaving the APS family with a powerful message of freedom, responsibility, dedication, and excellence.
