About The Event

Azamgarh Public School, Kotila Checkpost, hosted a CBSE Principals’ Conference under the aegis of Bharat Scouts and Guides, Uttar Pradesh, to promote the establishment of Scout and Guide units in CBSE schools. The program began with the Scout Prayer, lamp lighting, and the felicitation of guests, followed by discussions on leadership, discipline, service, patriotism, character building, and personality development through scouting.

School Manager CA Mohammad Noman emphasized that education should go beyond textbooks and help students develop leadership, discipline, social responsibility, and a spirit of service. Principal Ms. Roopal Pandya, a recipient of the President’s Award for Scouts and Guides, described scouting as a way of life that nurtures self-reliance, confidence, and leadership. Experts from Bharat Scouts and Guides, including Ms. Sapna, Dr. Shafiuzzama, Mr. Subhash Chandra Gond, Mr. Shailesh Prakash, and Mr. Avadhesh Yadav, shared valuable insights on the importance, functioning, and expansion of Scout and Guide units in schools.

During the event, students of Azamgarh Public School who successfully completed the Third Stage of Scouts and Guides were awarded certificates by CA Mohammad Noman for their achievement. The students are now preparing to earn the prestigious Governor’s Award. The conference concluded with a vote of thanks and the National Anthem in the presence of principals, educators, Scout and Guide leaders, and school staff.
