The English Week event at Azamgarh Public School, which commenced on April 22nd, 2024, was a vibrant celebration of the English language and literature. Under the guidance of Principal Madam Ms. Roopal Pandya, the week-long event featured various activities aimed at enhancing students’ language skills and fostering a love for literature.

The event kicked off with a special assembly conducted by Mr. Gulrez Abbas Jafri on April 22nd, focusing on the theme of Shakespeare’s birthday. Students were enthralled as they learned about the life and works of the renowned playwright.

On April 23rd, the school organized a DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) Program, providing students with a refreshing break from academics to indulge in the pleasure of reading. The serene atmosphere encouraged students to immerse themselves in books of their choice.

April 24th saw the Inter-House Spell Bee Competition for students of classes 3rd to 5th, meticulously organized under the supervision of Ms. Sana Abdullah. The competition showcased the students’ vocabulary and spelling prowess in a friendly yet competitive environment.

Concluding the English Week festivities on April 25th was the Essay Writing Competition, where students showcased their writing skills and creativity on various topics. The event was a testament to the school’s commitment to promoting literacy and language proficiency among its students.
