A grand celebration of 77th Independence Day was organized on 15th August during ‘Azadi ke Amrit Mahotsav’ at Azamgarh Public School. The chief guest of the event was Retired Master Warrant Officer (Air Force) Rishikesh Shukla (Retd), who joined the Indian Air Force in the year 1959. Just two years after his training, in 1961, he got a chance to fight for India against the Portuguese in Goa. We remembered the sacrifice of the freedom fighters and saluted their sacrifice for the country, he also shared the feeling of a soldier’s love for the country with the children.
