About The Event
On November 9, 2024, Azamgarh Public School hosted a grand Urdu Day Celebration in the auditorium, marking the conclusion of a week-long Urdu Week (November 4–9, 2024). The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from all students, with Jamshed Sir and Asif Sir serving as activity incharges. The program featured several distinguished guests, including special guest Professor Abdullah Imteyaz and celebrity speakers Dr. Mahmood Mirza, Dr. Mohammad Tavis, Arif Naseem Sahab, and Professor Sarfraz Nawaz.
The celebration was graced by the presence of the school’s Manager, Mr. Mohammad Noman, Principal, Ms. Roopal Pandya, and Vice Principal, Ms. Runa Khan. Speeches by Professor Abdullah Imteyaz, Manager Sir, Principal Ma’am, and Asif Sir emphasized the importance of the Urdu language, its rich heritage, and its role in cultural and literary development. Mehfooz Sir anchored the event seamlessly, maintaining an engaging atmosphere throughout the two-hour program.
